Day 5 So far.

I'm a little late in posting my blog today due to alarm clock issues. It never went off again today and when I did wake up I jumped right into todays festivities without posting. I'm happy to say that so far I've lost 2 kilos in the first 5 days as well as almost 2% body fat. I have to say that's a good start and it's definitely providing some motivation for the rest of this process. Today we had a handful of dry cereal for breakfast and hotdogs with whole wheat bread for lunch. I still haven't solved my energy loss problem, but it's a work in progress and  I'm sure I'll find a solution. I want to stay away from unhealthy solutions like, more sugar or energy drinks because that leads me backwards from where I want to go. I'll post again after dinner with anymore news I might have and until then, have a great day :)

Day 4 - Day off.

Today was a reward day for being on track all week. We plan on having a chill day every sunday and its been quite the nice day so far. Finally some peace and quiet after a long week and time to let the muscles relax. Tomorrow everything goes back to normal and we will continue with the process :) Until then , good night all.

The run to the store today was quite surprising. At the asian food store we found a section of the store we didn't know existed and we ended up getting all the ingredients we needed for homemade sushi. Which, since my wife is amazing, was delicious. Also there was a good bit of a walk up and down stairs as well as through the city today during our shopping trip which actually gave us more distance than our normal walk which was great for our exercising. I am definitely feeling the difference in my body since the diet switch. I feel more tired though, so the diet may have to be given some more time before I'm used to it as I spend most of the day with no energy left. I may have to increase the amount I'm eating to get that energy back or just increase my sugar intake which is almost nothing right now. Thanks to those reading and following along on my blogs and I'll be back tomorrow :)

Hey there everyone. It's morning time here and we're starting off the day with a banana and whole grain with oat cereal mixed with several fruits. It's actually really good, I thought it might taste a bit gummy like most dried fruits do. In just a very short while after breakfast we will be heading to the asian food store for some very fresh veggies and shortly after take our walk for the day. I actually started this morning off with a short workout already so I'm feeling quite awake and my body is already moving with my momentum. Greetings and saultations everyone :) Today's been an interesting day. My cat has been cuddly and snuggly like never before, We had two delicious meals with reduced fat/sugars and even tried a new milk type called Rice Milk and it's quite nice. We are still searching for more healthy meals to have while losing weight and so far the foods we have found are quite delicious. Muscles are quite sore from yesterday, never realised how far out of shape I am. As the weather was quite crappy today by the time that our day's festitvities were over, we could not attend our walk, but none-the-less we will be pulling double tomorrow as we have some shopping to do and plan on attending our normal walk as well. I thought it best to just include my daily activities in one post in the morning and one at night due to timing reasons :). I'll be back on tomorrow with my wake up news before heading off to the city and until then, good night!

Day 2 Begins

Good morning my friendly weight loss stalkers :). It was hard getting out of bed again this morning, however, It's now 8:30 am instead of 9 so I'm getting better with a decent schedule. I've started my day off with a few full body stretches due to soreness from yesterday. Before bed last night and after my final post, we decided to see how far would could run on our treadmill. I did better than I expected but the feeling of dizzyness and feeling as if I was about to pass out made me realize just how out of shape I really am. Jogging at about 17kmh (10mph), I was able to push myself to a full 2.2km (1.36m). Needless to say, in the event of a zombie apocalypse, you guys should stay with me if you want the zombies to be distracted with a nice meal when I pass out to make your own escape. On to today though. I have started my morning with a handfull of whole grain cereal without milk, as we did not have anymore soy milk, and a glass of water. I am making sure to take in at least 3 liters of water a day which is the closest I could get to a gallon since they don't have the imperial unit of measurement in Germany. We have plans of more walking today around the city I live in, exploring areas we haven't seen yet so we are doing our best to make the walks as interesting as possible to ignore any shortness of breath or any fatigue which is great because it's really working and helping. We try to avoid any walks around food places, and since we are in Germany there are plenty of Doener places around here as well as Bakeries, so it's quite hard to avoid them and you will most  of the time, get a wiff of something good and drive your stomach crazy. But, mind over matter is the key here and we just turn our attention to something else, like a bird or the wild pikachu that just suddenly jumped out in front of me! O.o. Anyways, with the joking aside, I'll update later with our completion of workout session 1 and lunch, then again with dinner and our walk. It's been a successful day of workout and healthy eating. We're finishing off today with homemade from scratch tomato soup and yeast infused corn bread as opposed to regular bread. Our exercise consists of a 15 minute introductory to our basic daily workout, which will extend to 35 minutes after 10 days, and another 35 minutes after an additional 10 days. So at the end of Day 1, I am starting off with a weight of 137 Kilos or 301.4 lbs. I want to reach 200 lbs by the start of 2015. I'm just glad that my wife is doing this with me, otherwise I would not have the self discipline to make this journey alone. Our night here is coming to an end as we prepare for dinner, and then count ourselves down for bed. So thank you to all who are keeping up with me so far, a lot of support from my Dad so far and some friends on facebook and I'll be posting again tomorrow. Good night and sweet dreams.

So my plans are going well so far this morning. The house is cleaned up enough to workout in, I am having another orange and a rice ball for lunch with plenty of water to keep me hydrated and its soon time to start working out when my wife makes it home from university. Most likely going to be playing some music during the workout session, as music is a big part of my day. Still putting together a playlist to workout to and getting some stuff together. If you want to send me requests, feel free, my music genres are country, rock, techo, electro and dubstep. Off again for now until after mid day. See ya

Starting things off

So basically, here's my problem. I'm 23 years old and I've been overweight most of my life. I've tried many times before to find a solution that worked for me, and sometimes, that led to body damaging solutions. I've created this website to help myself keep on track as well as help others who may also be struggling in their weight loss journey. Hopefully some of you or most of you will find inspiration in my journey to make your own and make yourself healthier. My goal with weight loss, is to be at a healthy weight and have a healthy functioning body. I don't want to be a macho heavy lifting man with muscles bulging out so hard it looks like I'm choking myself, I just want a good, healthy, long lasting and functioning body and system. Over the course of my transition, I will post my weight changes, my eating habits, my exercises and even my sleeping habits. I do struggle with insomnia, so this will most likely affect me a few times down this road. I also have a large addiction to video gaming, which I will be overcoming during this process hopefully, with the help of my wife who is also joining me on this journey to better herself as well. This is Day 1 for the start of my workouts/dieting experience in attempts to reform and recreate my body and my self image. I'm starting the day off earlier than I'm used to. Normally waking around 11-12 in the morning, I am awake at 9 am, which is better, but its not the 6 am my alarm clock was...
